It was standing room only at Henry Bloom Noble Primary School harvest assembly.

Hundreds of parents, plus key stage two pupils, watched as children from reception and years one and two at the Douglas school put on a stirring show, including a finale performance of the song Big Red Combine Harvester. For the encore, parents and grandparents were encouraged to participate in the accompanying actions!

Head teacher Ian Walmsley thanked everyone who attended and also those who had donated food items for the school’s collection.

A bumper supply was collected, to be shared with Isle of Man Foodbank and the Salvation Army.
