Triskelion-shaped biscuits, chocolate brownies and Victoria sponge were some of the Phabulous entries in Phab Youth Club’s first Phabulous Manx Bake Off.

The event saw staff and youngsters bake a treat at home and then bring them into the club for judging.

The guest judging panel consisted of Central Douglas MHK and DEC member Ann Corlett, principal youth officer Ken Callister and youth officer Voirrey Kennaugh.

They faced the challenge of choosing an adult and child Star Baker along with spot awards for ’Phab..*...lously tasty’ ’Phab..*..ously Creative’ ’Phab..*..lous great texture’ and special Judge’s Awards. David Smith was named Star Baker in the children’s category and adult Star Baker was Phab youth worker Sarah Strickett.
