The Isle of Man Examiner will be on sale a day earlier than normal this week.

Instead of Tuesday, it will be available from Monday morning.

We’ve changed the publishing day because New Year’s Day falls on a Tuesday in 2019.

The news and sports teams are in the office today writing and laying out the paper.

So far, as you can see, we’ve yet to start work on page one.
