A fake Twitter post is circulating online claiming that the island’s lockdown will end on April 4.
Government have confirmed that this should be ignored, as it is not true.
Posting online, they said: ’We have been made aware of a photo circulating which shows a tweet, supposed to have come from the official IOM Government Twitter account, claiming the island’s lockdown will end on Sunday 4 April.
’This photo is a fake and this is entirely untrue.’
They also reminded the public that from today, up to 10 people from different households can now meet outdoors, including for exercise.
People still need to stay two metres apart and it’s recommended you wear a face covering as much as possible.
Indoor gatherings are not permitted.
