An event billed as the ’biggest family disco of the year’ brought families together at the Villa Marina.

Once Upon a Party, held in aid of Manx Cancer Help, offered the chance for families to dance away the afternoon to a range of party tunes thanks to DJ Matt Fletcher.

They were joined by a number of film and book characters including Olaf and Elsa from Frozen, Rapunzel, Spiderman and Storm Troopers.

Many of the people who attended turned up in fancy dress.

And face painters were on hand to add some sparkle to children’s faces.

Fundraiser Jessica Mackie said the idea was to create an event where the kids didn’t miss out.
