From Sunday the Castletown farmers’ market will be moving from the Southern 100 clubhouse car park to Colby Football Club,
It will beopen from 11am to 2pm.
Organisers say the move has come about due to a shift in the trend of footfall,
A large percentage of customers now come from Ballabeg, Colby, Ballakilpheric, Port Erin, and Port St Mary, so it seemed prudent to take the market to these customers, they say.
Colby Football Club has lots of car parking space and during the football season light refreshments, along with hot and cold drinks will be available from the clubhouse.
The market stalls will be on the far side of the clubhouse.
The Isle of Man Farmers’ Market committee thanked the Southern 100 club for its help in the past.
