Tracey and Steven Ridgway have just celebrated the 10-year anniversary of buying Close Leece Farm, in Patrick.
Over that time, their range of animals they raise and produce has grown to include free-range Tamworth pigs, Golden Guernsey goats, Loaghtan sheep and chickens as well as Manx bees.
But their mantra has remained the same - to give the animals the best welfare standards possible, and combine this with the best feed possible, to make the highest quality products.
And at the Celebration of the Festive Season six-course tasting event we enjoyed on Saturday evening, that certainly proved to be the case.
Tracey explained at the start of the event that the aim of the evening was to showcase their produce - some of which has been awarded Great Taste awards - alongside the best of other Manx produce.
The carefully thought out menu included their Tamworth bacon and sausage inside ravioli with creamed Manx savoy cabbage, a selection of charcuterie with Golden Guernsey goats cheese and home-made focaccia and Niarbyl crab, avocado and Close Leece Farm salami gateaux.
The main course highlighted the different ways you can cook a Tamworth: slow roasted Tamworth pork belly, stuffed with chestnut and cranberries, rolled in Close Leece Farm streaky bacon and served with crackling, mashed potato and red wine jus.
A crowd pleaser for everyone with a sweet tooth proved to be a white chocolate bauble filled with Close Leece Farm Golden Guernsey goats milk and Nutella mousse, served with hazelnut ice cream.
And fittingly, the festive evening was rounded off with a mini Christmas pudding from Berries. There are more evening events planned - keep an eye out.
