For many people, the island’s second lockdown provides an opportunity to take a breath and reflect on what their business, charity or public sector team has achieved over the last extraordinary 12 months.
Many businesses not only adapted to the ’new normal’ of social distancing, home deliveries and working from home, they also went out of their way to help other, more vulnerable, members of the community.
If you take a look at the Awards for Excellence website you will see that many of this year’s award categories have been designed to reflect this.
You may very well identify with categories such as Doing the Impossible During the Pandemic; Our Local Heroes; Business Supporting Our Community; Caring for the Island’s Wellbeing and Celebrating Our Local Food Producers.
You may also think that there is more than one category you might enter: that is fine too.
The Awards are a celebration of achievement and this year, more than any other, achievement will be measured, not by balance sheets, but by the contribution we have made to the community and by how we and our businesses have adapted in order to survive and continue to serve our customers.
We know that there are many extraordinary businesses, charities and public sector teams on our island who have gone above and beyond over this last twelve months. The Awards for Excellence offers an opportunity to showcase your achievements.
Don’t miss your chance to enter the awards and tell everyone what you have done.
You will find full details of all the award categories and you can download entry forms on the Awards for Excellence website at www.excellence-awards.im.
Entries close on Friday (January 15).
