The annual general meeting of the Manx Bat Group will take place on Wednesday, December 9, at the training room at Thie Slieau Whallian, the headquarters of the Department of the Environment, Food and Agriculture, in St John’s, starting at 7.30pm.

The short business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Louise Samson, the group’s secretary, entitled ’Bats on the Isle of Man - so much to learn’.

There will also be bat-themed food and chat, discussing past events and future challenges protecting island bat species.

All are welcome.

Organisers suggest that people who attend should bring their own mug or glass for drinks and snacks for the supper table.
