â?¢ Thursday November 1: Kirk Braddan Church Hall on Peel Road, Douglas, firework event at 5.30pm with a barbecue, cake stall, mini-market and a bonfire lighting. The display is at 7pm.
â?¢ Friday November 2: Douglas’s event begins with deputy mayor of Douglas, Councillor Ian Clague, leading the judging for the Best Guy competition at 7.25pm. Fireworks set off from a barge opposite the War Memorial on the promenade at 7.40pm.
â?¢ Saturday, November 3: Laxey bonfire and fireworks by the fire station. Bonfire from 6.45pm and fireworks at 7pm. Also, bonfire and fireworks by Dhoon Church, Maughold, 6.30pm.
â?¢ Monday November 5: Fireworks in Mooragh Park, Ramsey, at 7.30pm. The display will be synchronised to 70s and 80s television theme tunes. Also, Port Erin fireworks over the bay, 7.30pm.
â?¢ November 10: Bacchas Hockey Club Bonfire Night, Cronkbourne Cricket Club, Tromode Road, Douglas. All members, family and friends are welcome. Bar opens 4pm, BBQ and bonfire from 6pm and firework display at 7.30pm. Entry £5pp including food and sparklers for children.
