Wiltshire Farm Foods bosses have pledged to support residents.
The local franchise of the UK frozen based food delivery service has pledged to support any customers affected by the potential closure of Jack Frost Food Services.
Based in Spring Valley Industrial Estate, the firm claims to currently serve just over 100 Manx residents.
Sophie Dvorakova, WFF Isle of Man manager said: ’Whilst this is not a replacement for the meals of wheels service previously offered, care and compassion is at the heart of our service, enabling people to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
’We are excited about bringing this service to the island and have already begun visiting new customers at coffee mornings, outreach events and tasting sessions.
’We are happy to speak with customers who may have been affected by any recent loss of service and would like to reassure customers that we have capacity in our network to serve people without any interruption to their service.’
Wiltshire Farm Foods meals are cooked then frozen and the menu contains 300 mains and desserts including a free-from range and gluten-free meals.
