Airport bosses have updated passengers on the situation at Ronaldsway after the airport closed this morning because of icy conditions.

A spokesman said: 'The airfield is thawing nicely and the airport terminal is open.

'Please check in for flights at the usual times and leave plenty of time for your journey to the airport. Every effort has been made to grit the pathways and car parks but please be careful.'
