The collapse of Flybe has left many passengers scrambling to make replacement travel arrangements.

This had included 11 men travelling to Latvia for a stag do who have had to book a whole new trip just hours before leaving the island.

Luke Cashin, pictured in the yellow hazmat suit is the stag.

Jamie Lang, who is on the stag do said the group was unlucky as ’the one flight that we booked with Flybe was off-island this morning’.

Jamie added: ’This has meant that we have missed our onward flight from Manchester and has meant that we have had to book the boat to Heysham (£50pp) a taxi from Heysham to Leeds (£300) and a new flight from Leeds (£250pp), leaving us £3,600 out of pocket.

’We are still going though!’

If the picture they sent to us from their journey from the Ben-my-Chree is anything to go by, while they may be out of pocket, they certainly aren’t letting the collapse of Flybe ruin the stag do.
