Four Manx police officers officers were assaulted over the weekend.

The first occurred in Union Mills during the early hours of Saturday.

It’s understood a man and a woman are being questioned.

Then on Saturday evening, two officers were assaulted in Douglas.

A 54-year-old male has been charged, and will appear in court this morning.
