A fourth person has died following yesterday’s car crash in Laxey.
Emergency services were called at about 9am yesterday (Monday) after a car struck a bus stop near the Fairy Cottage filling station.
The car contained four people, all elderly residents of the island.
Two people in the car were declared dead at the scene.
Two other occupants of the car were taken to Noble’s Hospital, both suffering critical injuries.
One died from their injuries yesterday and now police have confirmed that the other casualty has also lost their life.
The road was closed for almost six hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
