A season of fortnightly folk concerts in the west of the island continues this weekend .

The Gaelic-inspired folk, soul and funk group Clash Vooar will appear at the Atholl Room, at the Peel Centenary Centre, on Friday, September 27, from 8pm. They will be joined by Amore.

Admission is free but donations are welcome to raise money to bring guest folk singers to the island.

The first UK guest performer will be Bob Fox from the North East of England, who will appear on Friday, December 6.
