Photographers are being invited to submit their best efforts to the Friends of Jurby Church for an exhibition over the TT period celebrating the pictorial beauty of the island in all its moods.

Sandra Kerrison, of the Friends of Jurby Church, explained: ’During the TT Festival, many visitors come for tea and cakes as one of their regular stops when riding around and exploring the island. We usually stage exhibitions about the history of the parish.

’This year, inspired by the stream of amazing photos from around the Island which are posted every day on Facebook, we would like to fill the church with ’Pictures of the Isle of Man’, which we know will appeal to our TT visitors as well as to islanders.’

For details, contact Sandra as soon as possible on the Friends of Jurby Church Facebook page or email [email protected] or telephone 898003/491434.

The images will only be used for this exhibition. Exhibitors can offer copies of their work for sale if they wish.

The exhibition will run from May 27 to June 18. Admission is free.

All sales from tea and cakes and any donations will go to the Friends of Jurby Church who are raising funds to restore Jurby Church.
