A packed house witnessed the adventures of Queenie and her efforts to open a burlesque house in Peel, during the outrageous and risqué show ’Fatal Fishnet Follies’, which was performed in the Peel Centenary Centre last weekend.

The show characters with fishy and exotic names such as Miss Tuna Turner, Prawn French and Angel Fish X, and featured narrator, local poet Georgia Lisette, the island’s leading drag artist, Vida la Fierce and dancers from the Queens and Tassels Burlesque dance group.

They were joined by a host of surprise guests, most notably photographer Steve Babb as ’Reverend Run’, sporting a colourful pair of rainbow hot pants.
