Noble’s Park on Saturday, August 4, will be the setting for an afternoon of fun for all the family.

Attractions include bouncy castles, family races, children’s shows, car boot, local independent retailers and charity stalls, face painting and other amusements.

It is being organised by Douglas Council.

Regeneration and community committee chairman Stephen Pitts said: ’Thanks to the hard work of many of our officers and staff members, together with support from local businesses, the fun day is set to be a memorable community event.

’The setting, of course, couldn’t be better: the council’s award-winning Noble’s Park, maintained magnificently by our parks service and this year with the added attraction of the new splash zone which is proving to be a great success.’

The fun day is from 1 to 5pm and entry is free. Pitches are still available for charities and local retailers. To apply, contact Wendy Wynne, [email protected].
