The Ramsey Branch of The Royal British Legion is seeking 100 people to take part in a family-friendly fun run to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.
It will place on Sunday, June 17, in Mooragh Park.
It will start with two minutes’ silence at 11am to remember a generation who served, sacrificed and changed the world.
The proceeds from ticket sales and any sponsorship that participants raise will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.
The Royal British Legion is also asking for companies to consider sponsoring aspects of the event and for individuals to help with stewarding the route.
Helen Smith, who is taking organising the event, said: ’If you can offer help or support in any way please get in touch either via the Facebook group or call on 830332 and leave a message, someone will call you back.’
