The Manx Bantam Fur and Feather Society will be holding its annual show on Saturday, October 27, at Braddan Commissioners’ memorial hall on the Main Road in Union Mills.
There will be classes for rabbits, guinea-pigs, cats, bantams, pigeons and ducks with pet competitions for children.
Visiting judges from Lancashire and Cumbria will be selecting winners to receive silverware, as well as presenting prizes from the Poultry Club of Great Britain.
With expected entries of around 150 animals and birds in all shapes, sizes and colours, there will be strong competition and plenty for visitors to see, organisers promise.
The show will be open to the public from 10am to 3pm.
Snacks and refreshments will be available in the show hall throughout the day. A raffle and prizegiving will be held at 3pm.
It’s not too late to enter. The closing date is October 19.
