Friday evening’s Ben-my-Chree sailing to Heysham and the overnight return journey have been cancelled because of the high winds.

This follows on from the cancellation of Friday’s earlier scheduled crossings to and from the Lancashire port.

A decision will be made at 7am tomorrow (Saturday) as to whether the Ben will sail to Heysham at 8.45am.

This, in turn, will have an effect on the day’s later sailings.
