Music to suit all tastes is guaranteed at the Villa Marina for Manx Concert Brass’s annual gala concert.

Lon Vane Ladies Choir are the guests at the concert in the Royal Hall on Saturday from 7.30pm. Fresh from a successful Manx Music Festival, the organisation will showcase some of its younger players with a wide repertoire of music before the bands and choir join forces for a moving finale.

Under the baton of conductor Christine Bregazzi,, Lon Vane’s programme will include Fields of Gold; a rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone from the musical Carousel and traditional Manx favourite Ellan Vannin.

Manx Youth Band and Manx Concert Brass, under the stewardship of musical director Ian Clague, play a wide range of music.

The programme includes music from Michael Buble, Leroy Anderson’s Bugler’s Holiday and a brass band arrangement of ’Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Freddie Mercury and Queen. They will be joined by musical advisor Derek Broadbent.
