Fundraisers are being invited to help two charities on wheels.
People are being invited to use bikes, scooters, skates, roller boots, balance boards, wheelchairs, prams, roller blades - basically anything with wheels.
The event is called ’A Wheely Good Cause’ and it will take place in Douglas on July 9.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group at Noble’s Hospital and the local children’s hospice Rebecca House will benefit.
The event will comprise a children’s and an adult fun ride.
The children’s run out registration is at noon at Summerland. The child must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The Wheely Good Cause first took place last year.
The children’s event is free to enter but is hoped that the entrants will fill in a sponsorship form.

The adults’ event will be a team of five people with a £25 entry fee.
Entry forms are available from Clare on 451627 or any of the above pages. The adults will do the full length of Douglas Promenade and back. This event starts at 2pm.
There are also prizes for best dressed wheels and best fancy dress. Every participant must wear a helmet.

A spokesman from the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group said: ’We are thrilled to be helping to organise this fabulous event again this year and are really looking forward to seeing the adult teams entered in the Wheely Good Wheel barrow race! We are hoping our very own Booby Bear is entering a team!

This time the event, supported by Friends Provident International, is raising funds for two local charities.
