Glen Maye Chapel held one of its monthly craft markets on Saturday.
Organiser Debbie Craker said: ’We have a small group of regular stallholders who come each time then usually three or four different ones.
’This month there were a few new ladies who brought lots of interesting things and most of them will be coming again next month.’
One of the new stallholders was Claire Stringer who brought a selection of items crafted in wood, including earrings and key rings.
Regular stallholders included Susie Heckles with her hand painted ceramics; colour analyst Marilyn Payne with a selection of Fairtrade scarves in bright shades; baker Shirley Corlett whose business, Time for Tea, sells a range of gluten-free bread and cakes, and Cathy Stanley with a delightful selection of knitted animals and TV characters.
The craft markets are held on the first Saturday of each month except for August: the next one will be on March 2.
All the proceeds go towards maintaing the historic chapel. Contact Debbie on 845681 for more details or to book a table.
