Showers will become more isolated later this morning, leaving the afternoon mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells breaking through. Highest temperature around 7°C in the mainly moderate north-easterly breeze.
This evening & tonight will be dry with some clear spells as the moderate north-east wind becomes fresh to strong. Minimum temperature near to 3°C.
Saturday will be rather cloudy with threat of some scattered showers for a time around the middle of the day, turning wintry over higher ground. Temperatures reaching up to 8°C at best, but feeling colder in the fresh north-easterly wind.
After a cold and frosty start to the day, Easter Sunday will be dry and bright with some sunshine, which will turn hazy later in the day. Maximum temperature of 6 or possibly 7°C with a light to moderate easterly wind, which will become strong overnight as rain moves in from the south falling as sleet or wet snow over the hills initially.
