Two girls have shown their generosity by having their hair cut for the Little Princess Trust charity.

The Little Princess Trust is a children’s cancer charity which supplies real hair wigs free of charge to children suffering with cancer and other illnesses, for the duration of their treatment.

Eleven-year-old Estelle Oke, from Castletown, had her hair cut at Studio 16 in Onchan, while nine-year-old Grace Turner, from Onchan, had her hair cut at Cut Above hairdressers in Onchan.

Grace had 12 inches of hair cut off which has been posted to the charity.

Her mum, Michelle Turner said: ’Grace’s best friends did it a couple of years ago and wanted to do something nice for another child who didn’t have any hair.

’She is also raising money for Hospice after they did such a great job looking after her great nana [Maureen Hooper] in her final days.’

Michelle has set up a page to raise money for Hospice at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/michelle-kinvig-turner
