An Asian grocery store specialising in authentic Asian and Filipino products is expanding with a new shop in Ramsey.

NC Oriental, which already has a store on Prospect Terrace in Douglas, will open at Unit 5, 87 Parliament Street, at 10am on Thursday, October 22.

The business announced the opening on social media, saying its team had been working hard to meet customers’ requests for a store in Ramsey.

It said: ‘We are truly grateful for your support! So regardless whether we are ready or not, we will open!’

The shop stocks Asian and Filipino food products, including fresh produce and dry goods.

NC Oriental also published its initial opening hours, saying they could be adjusted in response to customer demand.

The Ramsey store will be open from 10am to 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 10am to 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

It will be closed on Mondays and Sundays.

The business said it had received feedback from customers about its opening times and would gradually make changes based on demand.

It encouraged customers to share news of the opening, adding: ‘See you in Ramsey!’
