The team from Love Tech and leading Isle of Man technology companies are hosting an event on Friday.

The inaugural Half Term Tech Fest is free to attend, and is aimed at 11 to 18 year olds.

Throughout Tech Fest, attendees will get to experience the world of technology first-hand.

There will be an opportunity to try coding with Code Club, look at retro technology supplied by Isle of Man Vintage Computing Club and even try the Oculus Quest II VR headset.

Angela van den Berg, chair of Love Tech, said: ’We are delighted to be holding a Half Term Tech Fest on Friday for the island’s young people.

’There is a fantastic programme that really showcases the best of the technology opportunities on the Isle of Man to hopefully inspire our next generation of digital talent. Spaces are limited, so please make sure that you register ASAP on Eventbrite to secure your place.’

The festival is being held between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Friday, October 29 at the Villa Marina.
