Former Isle of Man resident Edna Gibson turned 100 on Tuesday.
Edna lived in Port Erin and Port St Mary between 1973 and 2011 moving to Wrexham in March after the passing of her husband Victor.
During the Second World War she was a Wren making parachutes for the Air Force and the Army.
When she moved to the island she realised there was no keep fit class in Port Erin, so she decided to start one and ran it till 2005 when she was 88.
She is pictured reading her card from The Queen.
