Tourism chiefs are again pushing an initiative aimed to help residents learn more about attractions in the Isle of Man.

’On your Doorstep - One Big Weekend’ takes place on March 23 and 24.

Residents will be able to go to some attractions for free and others at reduced prices.

More than 20 ’experiences’ are available.

One of the businesses taking part is Salworks SUP.

Its owner, Michelle Stewardson, said: ’Our island is an amazing playground and our unique coastline is unspoilt and full of wildlife.

’We want to show locals what is right on their doorstep, getting them out so they can feel the water beneath their feet, view the island from a completely different perspective, and perhaps even paddle alongside the seals! Our intro session for this event gives a small flavour of stand up paddleboarding but we offer everything from lessons, SUP Seal Safaris, to SUP Glo and SUP Yoga, so there is something for everyone throughout the year.’
