The DHSC said community nurses have contacted or visited all patients that require visits.Podiatry patients have all been contacted and had their appointments rescheduled as the clinics were closed this afternoon.Dental patients scheduled for appointments at the Central Community Health Centre on Westmoreland Road in Douglas have been contacted and rescheduled as the clinics were closed this afternoon.Earlier, the DHSC said it was doing its utmost to maintain Home Care appointments and is prioritising those with greatest need.

Occupational therapy appointments for mental health service users have had to be cancelled.

Anyone with radiology appointments at Noble’s Hospital should not feel they have to struggle to reach the hospital; any missed appointments will be rescheduled.

Staff from cancelled outpatient clinics at Noble’s Hospital have been deployed to wards. The hospital’s focus today is on providing emergency cover and ensuring inpatient wards are safely staffed.

The Children and Families Social Care team is providing emergency responses only today.
