Health and safety charges against the company which ran the Abbotswood nursing home, where 22 residents died of Covid-19 last year, will be progressed to court.
Health and safety charges will also be faced by one individual.
There will however be no criminal charges, with manslaughter charges having been dropped in April, and the police investigation concluded.
The company responsible for managing Abbotswood home has now changed its name to Silverdale Care Ltd.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Newey told Manx Radio that the individual and the body corporate will receive summons drawn up in conjunction with the Attorney General’s office, for offences committed under health and safety legislation.
DCI Newey has also written to the next of kin, those with power of attorney and other relatives of the residents who were at the home during the review period.
