Thankful island residents put their hand together to thank health workers for their dedication during the coronavirus crisis.
The applause broke out a 8pm last night as a community rallied in support of frontline staff in the Manx NHS who are under unprecedented pressure.
Clapping could be heard through open windows, from gardens and front doopsteps as the island joined together to say thank-you.At a press conference this afternoon, Chief Minister Howard Quayle hailed our NHS staff and other care workers: 'They are indeed heroes.'
