There has been an increase in the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19, but the number of presumed recovered is higher than active cases.

Eight new cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of positive tests in the island to 158.

In total 150 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and seven are being treated at the hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway led by Public Health.

However, with 80 people now presumed recovered, there is now only 77 confirmed active cases in the island.

There have been 1,539 concluded tests, 220 people are awaiting results and 81 people are awaiting tests.

There has been one death caused by the coronavirus in the Isle of Man.
