There have been no further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus.
The total number of confirmed cases remains at 329, Health Minister David Ashford confirmed at a press briefing this afternoon.
There are 39 active cases in the community and hospital. The contact tracing process is already under way.
Mr Ashford confirmed that three of the new cases identified this week were all healthcare workers at Noble’s.He said contact tracing has established there is no direct link between their work and contracting the virus.Their jobs entail them wearing full PPE minimising the risk to anyone working directly with them or coming into contact with them when they were at work.He told iomtoday: 'The only people at risk are those who have been in contact with them when they are not wearing the PPE.'Full contact tracing has been done and those people where appropriate are self isolating.' There have been 3,651 concluded tests, 19 people are awaiting results and three people are awaiting tests. Twenty one people are currently being treated at the hospital.
There have been no further deaths caused by Covid-19. The total number of deaths remains 17 in the community.
