One further Covid-related death has been confirmed - and one new case of the virus identified.
Health Minister David Ashford gave an update at a press briefing this afternoon.
He said Covid had claimed another life at the Abbotswood nursing home, taking the total death toll in the community and in the hospital to 22.
The total number of cases stands at 316, with one new case identified since yesterday.
Mr Ashford said of the seven new cases in the last three days, two had a link to Abbotswood, one had a travel history and had been self-isolating at home, one was a hospital admission and one had a link to another case.
But he said the remaining two were in the community and contact tracing had not revealed an obvious link to other cases.
Interim DHSC chief executive Kathryn Magson said given the handful of cases since in recent days, it was clear that coronavirus is still here in the island. ’We cannot let down our guard,’ she said.
She said the biggest number of Covid patients was among the 20 to 64 age group, and 57% of cases were male and 43% female.
Some 48% of positive cases were people who had come into close contact with others.
In total 273 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and 21 are currently being treated at the hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway.
There have been 3,149 concluded tests, 79 people are awaiting results and 31 people are awaiting tests.
In total 271 individuals are presumed recovered.
