One further death from coronavirus in the community has been confirmed in the island.

There have now been a total of 18 deaths in the community and six in hospital.Health Minister David Ashford confirmed the latest death was linked to the Abbotswood care home.Since the last update yesterday (Thursday) there have been two further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus. 

The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 334.

There have been 3,998 concluded tests, 34 people are awaiting results and three people are awaiting tests. Ten people are currently being treated at the hospital.

In total there are 21 active cases in the community and hospital. The contact tracing process is already under way.
