The government announced today that one new case of Covid-19 has been detected in the Isle of Man.

The individual was already in self-isolation because they are a close contact of someone who tested positive for the virus. Their period of self-isolation has been extended.

The current number of active cases of Covid-19 on the island is 40. Fourteen of these were detected during day one, seven or 13 testing while in self-isolation.Two people are being treated in hospital.
