Heading towards New Year’s Eve, there are 1,825 active cases of Covid-19 in the island.

That’s according to government figures published online today (Thursday).

Of these, there are 1,558 active cases found by lateral flow test and 267 cases by PCR.

This total is up from 1,495 cases yesterday.

Seven people are in hospital with the virus, with none in the intensive care unit.

This brings the total number of cases investigated since February 15, 2021 to 13,142.
