There are over 700 cases of Covid-19 in the island.

According to the latest government statistics, there are currently 729 active cases.

From today, a change in testing and reporting means the government’s online dashboard is displaying separate figures for positive cases confirmed by PCR and submitted positive LFT results.

The LFT results will be included in the dashboard figures until the New Year.

Of the newly reported cases, there have been 36 PCR positive cases submitted and 176 positive lateral flow test results.

Nine people are currently in hospital with the virus and none are in the intensive care unit.
