The team at the Chester Street vaccination hub delivered over 900 booster vaccinations today (Saturday, December 18).

It’s after long queues formed this morning as people over 40 took advantage of the walk-in Covid jab booster sessions.

From today top-up jabs are available to all adults aged 40 and over and those in at-risk groups.

The government tweeted the achievement, thanking ’the team who are working hard to protect our community!’

More walk-in clinics will be available from Monday, December 20 to Friday, December 24 for those aged 40+ or in at-risk groups.
