Chief Minister Howard Quayle has confirmed a second case of coronavirus Covid-19 in the island.

Mr Quayle said the person is a resident in the island who recently returned from a holiday. However, no further details were given about the patient.

The island’s first case was confirmed late on Thursday night.

Health Minister David Ashford confirmed that the two cases are not linked and there is no evidence yet of community transmission.
