Two new cases of Covid-19 were detected on the island today in the last 24 hours.Both can be linked to existing cases. All individuals are self-isolating along with members of their household and further tests will be offered. Contact tracing continues.According to the latest government figures as of 4pm on Wednesday, the current number of active cases of Covid-19 on the island is 293.

Six people are being treated in hospital, none of whom are in intensive care.

The number of people currently in self isolation stands at 1,215.

There have been 1,569 confirmed cases in total, with 11 deaths in hospital and 18 deaths within the community.

The number of total tests taken on the island is 46,469.

The total number of vaccinations reached 51,128 today.

The cumulative total of first vaccinations stands at 35,816 and the total amount of second vaccinations is 15,312.
