Braddan Commissioners are hosting a public meeting to discuss the Area Plan for the east of the island on Thursday, April 6, from 7pm at Ballacottier School, Farmhill.
The Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK and Mr Bill Shimmins MHK will be there, together with Diane Brown, head of planning policy and representatives from the commissioners.
A spokesman for Braddan Commissioners said: ’This is a valuable opportunity for the public to make their views known directly to their politicians and influence planning policy in Braddan while the Area Plan is in its early stages.’
The plan covers Braddan, Douglas, Onchan, Marown, Santon, Laxey and Lonan.
