Volunteers are invited to help the Friends of the Neb pull up Himalayan balsam around the Raggatt, Patrick.
The non-native invasive species dominates the wetland area, crowding out native species.
Sessions are being held on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
The next one is tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Volunteers are advised to wear robust footwear, long sleeves, long trousers and gardening/work gloves as contact with midges is possible and nettles likely.
The Himalayan balsam clearing evenings will go ahead in all but extreme weather conditions such as flooding.
