Sessions to help people thinking of offering tourist accommodation, attractions or events are to be held at a series of venues.

Hosted by Visit Isle of Man, the sessions will give those who attend the chance to meet industry experts, members of the tourism industry and the Visit Isle of Man team.

Over the next few months, the sessions will also provide an opportunity for members of the industry to ask questions and understand what support is available.

The first of the sessions is on Wednesday, November 21, between 2pm and 7pm, at Brightlife in Andreas. Industry members have the option to book 15-minute one-to-one sessions with the tourism team if they wish to discuss something more specific.

The event will be welcoming a representative from Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man to its northern session so the industry can learn more about the importance of the project and how tourism trade partners can sign up as biosphere partners.

The MiQuando Homestay Team will also be there from 2pm until 4pm to answer questions from anyone interested in taking part in the scheme to offer accommodation at TT, Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix.

Further drop-in sessions will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the Palace Hotel, Douglas; Wednesday, February 13, at Castletown civic centre, Farrants Way; and Wednesday, March 20, at Peel Centenary Centre, Atholl Street.

To book a place on any of the sessions log on to www.visitisleofman.com/trade/events/upcoming-industry-events or contact the Visit Isle of Man team on 686870.
