The Douglas bay horse trams will suspend operations between 5pm and 6pm for two evenings next week.
On Monday June 4 and Wednesday June 6, the horse trams will stop running in an effort by Isle of Man Transport to ease congestion on the promenades.
The decision was made following a request from event organisers the assist traffic on race nights.
A replacement bus service will operate instead of the horse trams to ensure passengers can connect with the Manx Electric Railway.
The rest of the horse tram schedule will operate as normal with a belief that up to 7,000 people could travel on the trams during the festival fortnight.
