Members of the Isle of Man Bankers’ Association Fraud Forum will be hosting a number of customer fraud awareness days this week.

Customers are invited to join them at the following venues:

â?¢ Isle of Man Bank, Regent Street Branch, today (Tuesday, October 2) from 10am

â?¢ Barclays Bank Victoria Street Branch on Wednesday, October 3, from 10am

â?¢ HSBC Ridgeway Street Branch on Thursday, October 4, from 10am

â?¢ Lloyds Bank Prospect Hill Branch on Friday, October 5, from 10am

Chris Till, president of the Isle of Man Bankers’ Association, said the threat of fraud for all island residents was very real and must be taken seriously.

He said: ’We all have a responsibility to prevent fraud by recognising it and reporting it.

’Please join us at one of the sessions to test your knowledge about frauds and scams, to discuss how to identify and report anything unusual, and to hear about the help and support that is available to you.’
