More than 1,500 people have signed a change.org petition calling on the government to save the Family Library charity.

The library faces closure now that government funding has run out.

It costs £250,000 per year to operate.

Half the funding comes from a private benefactor and the rest from the government via a three-year agreement that expired in April 2020.
